Current availability and the historical demo
On 16 October 2026 the US English Steam listing did not show a demo download button, and its appdetails response did not list a demo. This is not a free-play link. A demo was announced for June 2025; that historical release does not establish current availability.
The Full Release FAQ, updated 13 October 2026, answers the save question for Early Access only: those saves continue in 1.0, and achievements stay. It does not say whether a demo save moves forward. I am leaving that as unconfirmed rather than guessing.
What I could not verify
The current release FAQ does not specify the historical demo’s content limit or promise demo-to-1.0 save transfer. Check the official store for any future demo return; do not download a mirrored build or mistake the free soundtrack demo for the game.
Cloud backups for a purchased copy are a different topic. Steam Cloud is on the store tags, and Switch uses Save Data Cloud with Nintendo Switch Online. Paths on disk are not published. See save data before you go hunting through AppData.

Questions
Does my Early Access save work in 1.0?
Yes for Early Access save data. The newer 16 October notice reports achievement bugs and eight achievements whose conditions must be completed again.
Does the June 2025 demo save work in 1.0?
The FAQ does not say. Treat it as unconfirmed.
Is the demo still listed?
No current demo button was found on the US English Steam listing on 16 October 2026. The historical June 2025 demo is not a promise of availability today.
