The sources behind the October 2026 pass
The pass on 16 October 2026 used the official site at ratatan-game.com, including its character API and the Simplified and Traditional Chinese language files; Steam app 2949320, its news list, and DLC apps 4838880, 4838890, 4838860, 4838850, and 3369960; the Nintendo Switch 2 product page; Microsoft Store search results for the Xbox price; the PlayStation store search; Metacritic’s Ratatan page; the Kickstarter project; the YouTube channel @Ratatan-game; ratatanwiki.com for boss patterns; the Japanese Wikipedia article for credits; and HowLongToBeat for the 9 hour and 19 hour figures.
Review snapshots identify each sample’s language, time window, and platform. On 16 October 2026 Steam showed 843 positive of 958 English all-time reviews (88%), and 33 of 79 recent reviews across languages (42%). Metacritic showed 76 from 9 Switch 2 critics. These are different populations, not interchangeable measurements.
What the pass refused to fill in
We do not invent lab frame rates or a Windows save-folder path. We do not call original Switch cancelled: the publisher says it is in preparation. This review added the actual DLC hotfix summary and full-release changes, and flags the 16 October cross-play contradiction. The historical game demo is not promoted as currently available.
The editors of ratatan.pro write the wording. The game is made by TVT and Ratata Arts and published by Game Source Entertainment. Corrections go to [email protected]. The rule for choosing a source is the editorial policy.

Questions
Where do the character names come from?
The official character API, read on 16 October 2026, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese titles.
Why is there no frame-rate table?
No Digital Foundry-style measurement was in the sources. The Switch 2 page says so instead of guessing.
