Ratatan v1.1.9 full-release notes

The 14 October 2026 v1.1.9 release notes add Episodes 3 and 4. Clear Episode 2 to unlock Episode 3, then clear Episode 3 for Episode 4. From Episode 3 onward, meeting the progression conditions opens World 6. The story’s final boss and ending are included.

The newly available Dark Ratatan encounters are Shellshock, Panda Monium, The Bamboozler, and Tangletung. The publisher says all eight Dark Ratatan are now present. Earlier announcements about adding them in stages describe Early Access, not the complete 1.0 roster.

New Mythic weapons and accessories arrive with dedicated Decorune and upgrade materials obtained from Episode 3 onward. A fourth weapon limit break raises the weapon level cap from 90 to 100. Episode 2’s Mythic drop rate was increased slightly; no numerical rate was published.

The notes also add episode tutorials, improve overlapping conversation bubbles, change the save-deletion confirmation’s default to No, and record orchestral music for the ending. Known issues include suspend-save Ratakaruta restoration and several multiplayer problems. Read the official notes for the complete list rather than treating this summary as a claim that all bugs are fixed.

The v1.1.9 notes and launch FAQ list Steam, Switch 2, and Xbox cross-play, with PS5 planned. The newer 16 October notice says four-platform cross-play is being worked on and requires approval, without a launch date. These official statements conflict.
